By "patriotic" I just meant the type of people who are really into letting everyone know how much they love their country, not just the fact that they love their country. I love the US, but I would not consider myself to be patriotic. What I don't understand is how you could possibly avoid making the connection between the country and its military, since the military is a huge part of a country.ballinouttacntrol;4623273; said:lol, i agree, chrisplosion hasn't sounded very neutral. i think his point was his actions are neutral.
i still don't see how not being outspoken about your support for the military has anything to do with being patriotic. Someone can have a great sense of pride in their country and love everything about it and want to shout it at the top of their lungs......and still not care about the military. i don't think any less of their national pride

That would be nice, but I'm not sure of how well that would actually work...phillydog1958;4623302; said:I can appreciate the OP's passion for taking a moment of silence to remember the fallen soldiers of the many wars that Canada has participated in. You can't curse and use profanity to get your point across. Your valid message was lost in your poor delivery. Next time, try talking to them in a respectable manner. Maybe they would've understood. Try to Educate instead of Frustrate.
