By saying this, you were acting as immature as they were.

No theres not according to these fine individuals, you are either for the troops or against them.
I do agree with you on that, but being nuetral is just not being very patriotic. Not caring is being completely ungrateful to those who fought for your own freedom because somehow, you are unable to comprehend how greatly their sacrifices have effected your life.

Yes he was. The time and place to let the jerks know how he felt about their behavior would have been after the moment. By yelling, and swearing at them during the moment of silence, he sunk to the same level as the 2 spoiled rotten brats.

I can respect you opinion. For the record, I live in Los Angeles and Lord knows I was not raised with the Vets day thing (was the last thing on my mind growing up). I think I have just gotten older and my point of view in life has changed. In my Life, Freedom has a big factor in it... I am who I am today because of our family and firends that have Signed up (including yours)...

I think in time your views might change (for better or worst):D

i believe you on that West. every once in awhile i look back at the last couple of years and see how much I've changed. i'm a completely different human being then i was 2 years ago, 4 years ago, 6 years ago etc. it can be something as simple as dress style or as strong as morals and value so i definitely believe you.

About the topic, i also believe there's a generation gap that plays a part in how you view such holidays.

how is it not very patriotic? patriotic is the love for your country. i don't think you hate your country just because you don't profess your love for veterans?

He did wait until after the moment of silence. You all are not very good readers. :grinno:

Notice how he specifically said:

After the silence was over I walked over to them "both still smirking" and asked them is it to much to take one minuet a year to remember. One responded saying "What did they ever do for us?" I lost it and told them to get the *Beep* off the site.

I never said anything about neutrality meaning you hate your country. I just said it means you are not very patriotic, meaning you are not as outspoken about it. But I would not consider Chrisplosion nuetral based on the arguements he has presented so far.

Edit: Wow, I just noticed that I've been misspelling neutral this entire time... oops.

Just before the minuet of silence started I yelled "SHUT THE *BEEP* UP!"

I read just fine ;)

Besides,if a couple of jerks want to act like jerks, let them. It's not worth raising your blood pressure over.

No, apparently you didn't. He yelled at them before the minute of silence, then the minute of silence began, and they stopped, but continued smirking. Then after the minute of silence, he yelled at them some more. He never said anything about yelling during the minute of silence.

Are we at the construction site now? Grow up.

lol, i agree, chrisplosion hasn't sounded very neutral. i think his point was his actions are neutral.

i still don't see how not being outspoken about your support for the military has anything to do with being patriotic. Someone can have a great sense of pride in their country and love everything about it and want to shout it at the top of their lungs......and still not care about the military. i don't think any less of their national pride
