So what if we had no miltary in this country and other countries could just come over here and do what they please(WOULD THAT DIRECTLY AFFECT YOU)I dont need any one to stroke my ego(i did it to give my daughter a better life),no one knows what war is like until you are there(so they dont know what they are signing up for)I do know what it is like and if i had to go to war again to make this country strong for a bunch of non thinking(i mean indifferent)people,you can best believe i would not waste my time. Get your fish to protect you and fight for your freedoms and see how far it gets you.

ps, you may not know the physcological impact of war, but you KNOW what you're signing up for. you cannot honestly tell me they did not know what they were signing up for

I am shocked to hear people saying they are neutral or even "They don't care"! There is no inbetween in Freedom. I think people are so used to living day to day with no bombs or bullets from War that they forget what people are doing "Voluntarily". If these guys/gals didnt do that, there would be a draft, then everyone would have to go and leave their precious families/lives/hobbies to fight (or we would be living with no Right's like some of these other Countries).

I did forget about giving a minute of Silence this year however, I do send Thank You Packages of my hard earned money to the Proud that fight for us... just to try and show some appreciation.

I hope this Thread reminds parents to pass down the "Thank You" to our kids...

You said it your self, we have the right to voice our opinion and my opinion is indifference. Now if I did have a family member or friend I wouldn't be indifferent obviously but I don't so I am indifferent. It doesn't directly effect me so I have no feelings either way.

Um....we are in Africa helping them. Just because you don't see it in the news doesn't mean we are not there.

you can request it all you want but political threads are a no go. all about how we choose to communicate about it. you start goin into specifics (ie africa) and you begin to cross the line. not like mfk has to care, it is a fish keeping site afterall.
