Freedom is black and white, you either have it or you dont,(there is no gray)

This is not a political thread, your exercising your Freedom of Speech and defending your opinion.
I am just trying to understand those who live here, Love their Cities/Families/Culture/Beliefs and call "Neutral" (no bashing just trying to understand). Nothing is free in this World and someone is paying for our Freedom.

I guess I see it as "Dead or Alive"... there is no kind of.
Your either in or out... I am having a tough time understanding this, thats why I am asking the ones who Believe this

Can't ask for anymore truth than that!

Yep, All the peopled that died in the war paid their lives.

Not just the U.S.A... Africa supported, Egypt, British, France, Uganda, just to name a few Countries that helped us during OEF, OIF and ONH.

Well, i think for most people when you mention veteran's day or the military in general, it triggers a memory or reaction. Maybe its your involvement yourself, maybe it's friends or family that have served, maybe it's a family tradition to join as soon as you can, maybe you just grew up in a town that idolizes vets etc etc. The reason it triggers a memory or reaction is unimportant.

i don't have any of those memories, reaction or whatever you want to call them. So when veteran's day comes by, it's just another day for me. Now, however, i wouldn't go around saying anti vets things or anything silly like that because truth is, i have mutual respect for them. i just don't see why i need to voice or show it and i feel like people act like i'm a bad person for not doing so?

I can respect you opinion. For the record, I live in Los Angeles and Lord knows I was not raised with the Vets day thing (was the last thing on my mind growing up). I think I have just gotten older and my point of view in life has changed. In my Life, Freedom has a big factor in it... I am who I am today because of our family and firends that have Signed up (including yours)...

I think in time your views might change (for better or worst):D

If I am gonna be demonized for not having strong feelings for or against the troops then why bother, I don't care.
There is a big difference between being nuetral and simply not caring at all.

I took my time texting each vet I know personally and thanked them for their contribution. From family members, friends and co-workers.
