I'm a murderer

I dont know, but it did look back at me like I was hurting it

Dang :l

I feel like such a panzy, not being able to snip some worms :p

Don't boil them, you lose nutrients. And why boil them if you're worried they feel pain? Boiling is painless eh?

You could use the squash method. Put the worm on a paper plate and fold in half, hover and drop a large heavy object onto the worm. Repeat 4-5 times. Pick out the larger chunks and wash them off as to not dirty your tank water. Feed those pieces to fish. :)

dont forget to squeeze it real hard before you snip it!

I don't mind killing them, I just didnt wanna do it slowly I guess.
I don't like killing things, well maybe invading crickets that chirp all night.

I've never chopped anything live up, so that's my problem I guess. I'm just gonna look for a meat cleaver or something

I've never tried this but what about freezing them and de-thawing the ones you are going to feed?
Might be hard to try and individually freeze them so they're not frozen together though.

No need to snip or cut worms for your fish. The larger fish will be able to handle the worm without your help. You should buy red wigglers for your smaller fish(4-6 inches).

Now if they are all in the same tank, still give both to the fish. Cut back on the amount of night crawlers until you figure out how many to give.

Good Luck!!! I had the same problem when I was younger. My Dad used to try and get me to rip the worms apart with my fingers for fishing if they were too long or big. I refused.

If I have to do it now, I do it very quickly and precise. I don't like the smell and glue like stuff left on my hands from the worms. The smell still lingers for 2 days, regardless of how much you wash your hands.

Yeah, I'll just throw in a few for my bigger catfish and other bigger fish. I'm glad someone is on the same page as me and understands. Where do you buy red wigglers at?

I'll figure out how much I should feed. I'm big on moderation
