The one thing I love about this hobby, is I'm always learning something new. There are always going to be problems arise. Being best prepared for those problems is tough, I personally find losing fish more discouraging than tanks breaking. It's glass, of course things can happen. But fish die, just like tanks can break. Something you gotta deal with in the hobby. As suggested, cut back to one show tank with your favorites in it. Then later down the road start growing again maybe.
I'm about to quit... this is unbelievable.
