I'm digging it... the palmas polli really lit up. Surprisingly the teug didn't color up as much as I thought it would. The LJs didn't seem to change coloration much but it's only been a day or so, so who knows. Either way, they don't seem stressed out by it, and the higher light makes it a lot easier to see more details so I think I'm going to stick with itHow do you like the green color on them?
Haha honestly what really got me interested in teugs was the green coloration, but I'm not sure if it's my substrate (probably) or lighting but I've never seen it get there. It stays pretty much cream colored and brown all the time. The ljs pretty much consistently look awesome though (another point for Ljs I guess haha)I mean it do look really bad in person but in camera they look like green lanter, lolz
Took me like 4 days to get used to it, cause im used to seeing them with grey or tan base color.
Actually my cover is just some light diffusers with screen on them (don't worry, I've got a 5 foot long piece of 2 inch pvc holding the lids down so nobody is jumping out). It's not passing through glass or anything so there's very little reduction in light. Hoping it just takes a little more timeDid you try to take out your cover and leave the light on, i tried that and the poly look much better, they have the same bright pattern with less green base color, but be carefull cause polys might jump out![]()
