I'm Fed Up...Im out of answers

Why would you want the bacteria growing in your sponge? What is the biomax for? I clean the sponges in my ACs on a weekly basis, in hot tap water to remove all debries. The sponge is for mechanical filtration and the biomax is for housing the colonies of bacteria(biofiltration).

I also rinse all my mechanical out with hot tap water I got plenty of bio

So if I rinse my sponges out this will most likely fix my issues? How long after will I see the effect in my tests? Thanks guys

NEVER RINCE ANY PART OF YOUR FILTER WITH TAPWATER.....ALWAYS USE TANK WATER!!

the chlorine in the tapwater kills your beneficial bacteria

I do know to use tank water. Lol. So I should be squeezing my sponges? How quick will this help?

use Stress Zyme (contains live bacteria) pour some into your AC filter

im goin to petsmart to get stress zyme...then ima come back do a 25% WC add ammo lock water conditioner as well as the stress zyme...and squeeze out my sponges in tank water....hows this sound?
