I forgot to mentioned, I put my filter media in buckets, and left food in it to rot so the bacteria could still get yummies. As long as some of the bacteria lives, it wont take long for my filter to be at full force again.
They all look fine. They all went straight to eating right after I moved them. I still have to keep an eye on water quality because im not sure how my bacteria held during the trip, but I think they will all be good now.
I think it would have been easier and more reliable just to grab a bottle of cycle, but that's just me. Any how I am glad the fish are safe.

I haven't either. So I always have an excess amount of filter material in case I need to start a new tank.
