HAHA I hear u man get u good lawyer and u should be able to stay out of jail don't do like i did and get a court appionted attorny i got a wreckless driving charge a few years back in V.A.beach and i had to do a weekend in jail and a 280.00 in fines but i was 30+ over and u are only 18 over so u won't get a wreckless charge u have to be 25 mph or more over the speed limit to get that charge so you should not worry about going to jail u did't go fast enough. So try a little harder next time jam it to the floor and give the state trooper the finger haha

You can most likely "divert" a first offense....You will pay 250 And not be able to get in trouble for a year. If you offend in any way in that year, you will face both charges....

agreed on that one deferred adjudication is what that is called.

thats crazy , i got caught racing in a 45mph zone . when the cop caught me at a red light he said he trapped us at 136 mph and he gave me a $350 ticket and let me drive away . lol

some times the system puts the "good guy" in the hole and leaves the "bad guy" out free.....
sometimes you just have to put "The Man" in his place!

your right there i see people go to jail for minor things after a life of paying taxes and no trouble and see junkies in there council flats with 16 kids half taking away by the council , raising them like a cash crop getting pumped money makes ya sick

oscarluvr, YOUR IN TEXAS, its allot different here, i was in your state for quite a while, and the cops let you off with a warning there if traffic is not bad, and you arent driving crazy. But I forgot i was on a 8 lane freeway in VA, where the speed limit is 55, not 65-75 like in DFW, or Cali...

...well I sat in a corner today and thought about what i did. I guess I broke the law so im gonna get punished, Im still suprised about the possible charges (I thought for speeding Id just have to pay alot of $$ and take a class)

I wouldnt rather live in any other country than the good ol USA! but like I said earlier, I do think the puishment is a little harsh, but some of you are confused, i stated earlier I was doin 90 in a 55, thats 35 over !!!

And I guess I just gotta fess up, and take the green weenie. If you havnt read all the pages here, just realize every state is different, so dont go speedin around and just use geographical awareness...

Please take my advice, so this doesnt happen to you. and nobody gets hurt

Why should you get to post how you feel about "good ol USA" and I can not? I didnt plan on venting, I am not trying to make anyone change their views on this country or that country, nor do I care what you, or the person next to you thinks.
