+1 on riding a motorcycle way too fast. I couldn't tell you how many times I've looked down at the speedo over 100. It's just soooo smoooth Officer that I didn't realize I was speeding :hitting:.. (that would not fly even in Texas)..
yes that would be kind of flimsy at best, however when you have a little gray hair and your 7 yr old grandson is with you, it is a little easier, and when most of the cops here ride with you at one time or another.

Mannnnnnn I got another ticket.

This time in my 4x4 which i dont speed in, cuz that would suck down more Ga$ and its not a smooth ride...

he said I was goin 80 Mph... no way.... Maybe my bigger tires threw off my speedo ???

Maybe the cops in this communistwealth are just messin with all of us out-of-staters..?

I put 38 inchers on my blazer and was pulled over for speeding. The cop saw the tires were new and asked me if I'd had my speedometer recalibrated. I told him I never heard of that. He had me follow him and watch for his bar lights to come on at 55. When they came on, my speedo read 42. No ticket since the cop was ex-navy and I was in uniform. He just told me to keep the speed down.

Well atleast the cop wasnt a a hole about it. I know alot of people that dont know about recalibration.

Aparently in Virginia, if your gion 18mph over the speed limit, you face similar charges to a DUI ( 3,500$ + fees, and up to 1 year in jail) My court case is next month...

And there wasnt anybody on the freeway cept the mustang that flew by me. I guess the cop didnt see the mustang, just me...

I thought they changed that law?

Imagen if that happened to the wrong guy... (not saying you're this phil, and not in the same circumstances)

"you were speeding, but I'll let you off because your a veteran... so you can speed again."
