Here is my situation...

120 Gallon 4x2x2, giant wet/dry, incredible parameters.

Completely Overstocked:

1 six in Midas/RD
1 six in female JD
1 seven in Blackbelt
1 three in female firemouth
1 four inch female true red terror
1 three in blood red parrot

All fish are completely beautiful. I do not have the option of getting another tank. I can take whichever fish I choose to a local fish store for safe keeping and credit.

Seriously, these fish are absolutely beautiful, but I can sense that at any given moment, it is going to get ugly.

Who would you keep and why? I'm even open to getting rid of most and getting a pair for breeding. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks, I enjoy this forum beyond words. It is great therapy from my stressful career!

Get rid of the parrot and the firemouth and you may be okay. Just watch the aggression and if it gets worse, you will have decide again. It's not that bad.

I don't think you're overstocked at all. With enough cover/hiding places, you'll be fine.

If you feel the need to get rid of anything, I'd say:

the firemouth because it isn't in the same aggression league as the Midas, JD, blackbelt, and festae

the blood red parrot because I hate hybrids LOL

I think you can add somemore!!!!!! Is there any aggresion right now? Rearrange the tank and add some hiding spots and see what happen. You could even add a powerhead for more filtration and it might cut down aggression if you have any

Personally I would lose the BP and the Firemouth and not add anything else.

:iagree: If you must get rid of anything, I would chose one, or both of these. Thought in my opinion you aren't overstocked atm.

As for as I am concerned you aren't even close to being overstocked. But if you must
get rid of the BP since I have never liked them anyway.

i dont think that you are over stocked,,how ever i do think that you would be better off getting rid of your BP and FM and getting one more cichlid in the same aggression league.
