That is not possible. So something is not allowing your cycle to complete, because all nitrites should convert to nitrates. And if your water has nitites, you should, after a couple of days have nitrates.The nitrates usually stay okay though. Just problems with nitrites.
James, i may becompletely off base. I know very little of cold water speciesI'm just going off of some biologists' reports on water temperature. The bass has been fine up until now, and he's been in the tank since the first month of tank setup. Eats like a champ and so does the trout. All fish in the tank are pretty active.
