ive seen this on the news. but i didnt realize that they have those fish at such hot temperatures. i dont know any single body of water that gets that hot except on my stove. i will support the abolishment of this practice openly.

Onion, how hot do you think the ponds and swamps around you are right now? I bet a solid 90*f or more. Up here in KY surface temps in lakes are about 88*F. I know a guy who went collecting in Panama and he said he found breedind cichlids in water that was near 100*F Certain fish do fine in such temps and this particular fish is one of them. Also, the fish must be mass produced for them to be cheap enough to lose 7,000 and buy more like its nothing. In other words, these fish wouldnt exist if it wasn't for man breeding them for this purpose.
