that tank is very cool!!! UK huh? you guys have trout over there right? a couple friends of mine kept some rainbows and browns before and they love current. they dodn't even use a chiller, as long as the water was below 68 or so they were happy and active. most poeple assume trout are skittish and shy but these things were BAMFs for sure, much more aggressive than even rbps. they would always be swimming around and whenever anyone walked by the tank they would dash around searching for food, and they quaraled constantly but never did much harm to eachother. also they were blood thirsty and would attack and atleast attempt to eat anything that hit the water from pellets to smaller trout and even bluegill.
whatever you choose im sure that tank will be awesome, make sure to post us some pics ;)

I think 500 cardinal tetras would look great in that tank. Maybe add a few hundred long fin danios. Along with some nice live plants.

I was going to breed a few different species in a similar tank:D

I think Ports, Multispinosa, Some apistos......

small loaches would be cool - maybe hillstream loaches? And some white clouds or danios?

You could have powerheads at one end, rocks at the bottom, and have a an Asian stream tank :)

Badis was reading my mind before I read his post. That would make the greatest hillstream loach tank ever. North american native tank would be a great way to go too (chubs, minnows, etc.).

Killi's don't like strong currents, and also prefer well planted tanks. Not too sure if either approach would work in a tank like this... Just my 2c.

I'd like to see (similarly to what has been suggested) one large, or maybe two small/medium, powerheads at one end, firing over and aroiund some nice river rocks to chop up the current some.

Nice find :)

I'd fill it with a huge school of Clown Loaches. A school of a magnitude to be noticed.

The tank is long, but width is very short, so You cannot put monsters in it.

I'd go for 200 Cl loaches.
