i got an amazon puffer to grow out to go in with the raninus and hopefully help with the never ending issue of snails, i must get some pics of that tank its like a jungle now so loads of hiding space but be a while as the puffer is 1".

I'm with Evz just go with it lol would look awesome. my male dovii is 12" now and still have a female convict and a 5" male in there and 3gen of young and that aint meant to happen hahaha

well, I spoke to the missus last night and we agreed to leave the divider in with her being able to get under, so she had a place to run.
Today she passes back and forth and doesn't seem to have anymore damage, he ignores her so things are going well... plan on leaving the divider in for a few weeks and observing but I'm pretty confident now!-)

and +1 sounds cool shane, ive used assassin snails to good effect so you should snap a few up off ebay and give them a shot, I bought five and the made an obvious impact within a couple of das in my ornates tank and that was overrun with mts.

she is still alive!-) would say they are paired but at least he is tolerating her, no more damage... she eats mealworms atm so will need to get her on the massivore once she is settled I think.
