Introducing Flash

So yesterday (Wednesday evening) Flash didnt show any interest in eating his daily meal.

I had changed almost 30% water on Sunday, usual routine, and had tested water before and after. Everything seem normal. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening he had his food as usual. He is also swimming around but a bit more calm and slower than usual. Responding to our gestures as usual too.

Due to the rise in temp (was around 32 C with the lights on) due to summer, I had now switched off the tank lights completely and turning on the room light all the time, this is the only change I had done. Hoping that lights (change) are the reason for his lack of appetite and he bounce back to normal. If still not eating today, I am planning to put the lights back. Lets see.
 
Update: One day after putting the lights back in the tank, Flash started having his food like before. This time it seemed strange to me, felt like when he is getting bigger he is becoming more sensitive to changes in his surroundings.

Similar changes when I did last summer, he didn't seem to bother.

don't think too much and enjoy your fish.... like humans... fish have mood.... mine is about 10" and he actually fasted for 1 month plus.... during this period he eat maybe 2 small cut pieces of prawn or frog every 2- 3 days

now he is back to his greedy self of 10-15 frogs per session, twice a day

Flash has a design on top of his head. Exactly between his eyes, on the top of the head. This has been there but getting prominently visible nowdays.

It looks something like this, the design similar to that of a bow.

My query is anyone else observed such patterns on Aros? Is this common?

i just went to look at mine, my aro have it too and is highlighted in gold the marks that you draw in black

Not an expert in making great looking videos, sharing my amateur recording of Flash.

1) Flash being excited about food, his excitement varies sometimes like wagging his tail like a dog.


2) Feeding him during evening.
