  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Atlantic Sharpnose Shark; I get them all the time. They are a small species, but they will still out grow your tank. They get to be 4ft. Most that I have seen are 1.5 to 2 ft. If you want some, you might want to see how they taste :D

chompers let me think about that.. That would be cool! i might have to take you up on that.
ok, on the tank here is where is stand i returned the bondo fiberglass product and found a place called "the fiberglass shop" and they hooked me up i got 6 gallons of resin and 16x4' of mat, they even gave me a demistration as how to apply the product. They use these products on boat's and even swimming pools, bait buckets and all kind of stuff but i was assured it would be ok.

i am going to cut some 2x4's for it to rest on while it is siliconed in place and then fill the tank with these in there, and the presure from the water will keep it in place. once full.

well the bottom is coated!
i think i did ok for my first time ever messing with this stuff, its not that hard.
here is a pic, when this drys i am going to do all the sides.
anyone know if i need to sand this stuff after it drys before i put a few more coats on? or can i add all my coats of resine and then sand it all at one time?

Looking good. Sand it down on this one and then build up on the flat surface as any high points now would be very thin when later layers are sanded back down to them.

tank got its second coat of resin today thanks to my girlfriend, i will be working for awhile, so progress is a bit slower. i will trim the glass hanging over with my dremil when i am finished.
heres a pic of it as it stands,...
