Is anyone getting ready for this storm??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It may be due to the fact that You posted a question about a marine tank in the wrong section. Freshwater tanks we just break 'em down and move them. There's a little more to caring for/ moving salt water. You may have gotten a better response had You posted in the Salt forum. Sorry You have to waste You clicks on threads that are of no interest to You.

+1

Im really surprised we still have power, but I got my cables ran all around the house, all I have to do is turn the generator on. Almost every road around me is flooded, I left work about 1:00 today.

Oh and the flowerhorn will be fine

All dried up, put the tape measure to him 22" with his back bowed so more like 24-26". So sad.

Best wishes to all dealing with this storm.

damn :( sorry to hear about that, he looked like a stunner!

During big storms like this everyone is concerned about heaters, filtration, WC's, etc...but how many people bother to secure the lids so easily startled fish don't jump and have accidents like 1bigdovii did. I'm sure it sucks to think you've taken every precaution only to have a loss from something like that, especially when it's a beautiful fish like that one was.
