Is it a trimac?

Jamie, I don't care. You came on my thread. Please go find something else to do... As far as contacting you, it's not that I'm "upset" with you over you giving me attitude when I had always been great to you, it's just that I don't like you very much. Keep the personal stuff off my threads.

This thread got hotter after we found out what the fish was then before we knew. I think once Mr. Rapps came on to strighten it out with some great photos of past fish the variation within the species range is eveadent. Not at all uncommon among fish with a wide geographical distrabution and or isolated groups within a range. I saw the thread Jamie posted before, mistakes happen we're all only human and none of us are perfect. I doubt anything else can come from continuing this, we're all friends here even when we disagree lets keep it that way.

Just wanted to thank Jeff for posting all of those Trimac photos, prime example of the wide variations that can be found in this species.

Agreed, I would love a male like this one

Well done. I enjoyed the exercise.

Ok, time to put this to rest, yes the fish is from Rapps and I have no doubts about it being "pure."
I have two of her sisters from the same spawn, one has a lot of flowers like her but isn't as colored up because she's not the dominant fish and one is a typical looking three spot trimac.

Thanks for everyone who replied, some useful insight and good points. :D I would never think I could just look at a fish and be able to tell if it was "pure."
