It will do for a while but not permanent. Like I said before they will need atleast 24" of height and the rtc will need another 3' of width and length to make it a permanent home.

Still not big enough. It will do for the bass long term not the rtc

I still think thats up for debate. I dont see the catfish growing more then 30" as he was a rescue and is in still Iffy health. Ill go see the tank saturday and see. It will be as big as i can go without sacrificing width or height. I have to get it down 2 sets of stairs and a landing.

At 30" that tank is still too small it will need a tank 3x it's length to be comfortable and live a long healthy.

That makes no sence. As the bass are fast moving fish and can get 20", the catfish is a bottom dweller that does not leave his cave much and may be luckey to get past 2ft. I dont see how the bass wouldnt need more.

No I didn't. At 6' length that's only 2x the fishes length. If it grew to 30".

True. But the bass would only be 3x the length and there 10x faster and more active. Im not disagreeing overall.

But i find it silly that a docile slow moving bottom dweller needs that much bigger of a tank just because it gets 10" bigger
