Well, when the wall of religion comes down, there will be a lot of ethical questions that fail to have an opposite viewpoint. Chances are THAT is when we really make things interesting.

ash the doghead is an experiment that was done a long time ago where they had a severed canine head fully alive without a body, using a machine to keep it alive. I posted a thread about it one time but poof went the thread to freaky for people.

I am not fooled by cheap headdress and the sucker arrow. That is just a bad idea plain and simple to have something like that as an open source item.

We are not in kansas any more are we.

Militarily speaking there are things in use that make this robot look like a puppet, though john q public won't see such things for many years.

and whats the monkey thing he is talking about?


EDIT* disregard. the dog head from a machine is false. The puppy head attached to an adult dog is real, and so is the monkey head at least supposedly.

DARPA has been working on a number of autonomous weapons systems for years. I am less concerned with the threat of walking humanoid robots with rifles than I am the stuff they are working on. Once our potential adversaries catch up and start deploying autonomous heavily armed aircraft and armored vehicles warfare evolves to a whole new level. When a large percentage of combatants no longer feel fear, or pain then shock effect loses value and the level of destruction is going to increase significantly. Many people believe that sending robots into battle will actually result in more human casualties. I tend to agree with that prediction.

yeah. there is a vid of a puppys head transplanted onto an older dogs head, that apparently is real. the monkey head one apprently is true as well but not sure where to find a vid. but yeah the vid ur talking about apparently is false.

Well the dog/monkey thing is extrememly inhumane if any part of any of them are true and I am horribly disgusted that someone would even do such a thing for an experiment when its not even useful to have heads transplanted...... no thanks if my body is dead let my head die to. blahhhhhhh. People are sick.


On another note.... lol Japan also has a giant gundam in a park.... it lights up too.... maybe they figure out how to make it move and shoot lazeres O_O...... although... it would be kinda cool, but not at the same time.
