Well you paid a very good price for that FH!!! I've raised flowerhorns before and still am!!! But I can't really give you a name to identify the type of species, Since there are many. I'd have to say that it's a type of kamfa. Don't ask me which one though. And for have more then one in a tank, it is possible!!! I have a 125 gal (4'x2'x2') at home which housed a 14" and 6" male Golden Emperor FH, A 9" Male pearl blue Dragon FH, a 9" female Red Dragon, with a 15" Megalancistrus, and a 13" regular Pleco. I had them in there for around 8 months without a problem!!! All you need is a lot a hiding places. And well the easiest way to tell if it's a male or female, the male after approx. 2", tends to have a tine little PENIS right before his anal fin.
