If there was blue lighting then you would see it in other areas of the tank too. The light is not blue might just be the way the nag looks

I have seen males that color several times. I believe it's a certain strain that is somewhat common in my area. They are my favorite color variety for the record.

Looks like its a photoshopp and a poor one at that. I could easily replicate something like this.

many male jags take on varying degrees of purple hue....well at least high quality well kept specimens

Mine would come out like that if took with flash, jags once they mature do have some stunning colouration
