Is this as bad as it looks?

I have seen the Aquasafe bubble like crazy in the waterfall when I add it to my pond. The agitation from the air and the flow in you sump will definitely cause that kind of reaction. Have you put more aquasafe in the tank? That's where I put my money.

No I left it out this time. That was the only thing I added before so I wanted to eliminate anything that I could be doing to cause it. I only put about 50% the recommeded amount.

Aquasafe bubbles like mad, but they usually disperse very quickly.

it cleared up after the drain and refill. I putting my money on the aquasafe. The feeders have been in the tank all week and are doing fine, the poor bastards look happy..wait until the Oscars go in

ive heard of some brand of dechlorinator that causes bubbles in canisters and sump filters.
