Hahah scared the crap out of me too. I remember being scared of sewers more than clown though hahah
For some reason my parents let me read It and I'll admit it terrified me for most of elementary school. Amityville Horror is another movie that got me as a kid, remember seeing it in 3rd grade.
Freddie was the absolute worst for me. I mean cmon getting you while you slept amd in your dreams was just the worst. Exorcist was up their too
The original guy that was gonna play the clown had the features that I thought was gonna make a good pennywise. But I think schedule conflict didn't allow him to take the part. So it went to this guy who's playing pennywise now.

Yeah but Amityville Horror was supposedly based on a true story. lol There has been remakes on most of these 80's horror movies but cant say I've seen them.
Yess a lot of his films end up having a creepy low budget feel, but then there are some that don't due to great casting such as Shawshank redemption, green mile, apt pupil..
I saw Shawshank and Green mile.I was not aware that they were from works of his.
The replacement is awesome none the less. For anyone that has seen true blood and remembers Eric northsman, it's that actors young bro Bill Skarsgård, who also likes to play a vampire, but in the tv series hemlock grove.
