On a serious note I don't believe Vaseline would be harmful to him. I'd use Vaseline and hook it up to a small mag drive 2 or something similar. Of course I'd try just the pump first...

why not try to cut the pipe to the point of where his face is. So ur close to his pectorals where he is stuck. And dont do this in the bathtub. Between all the soap residue and what not, it might not be good for him. pluss thats alot of water out of the tank to fill a tub 6 inches. Just get a large rubbermaid container or one of those rubbermaid plastic tubs that slide under ur bed for storage. They cost like 10 bucks at kmart, Not a huge amount of water is taken out of tank, and u have a new storage box to put stuff in.

I can't use my bathtub anyways.. it only holds an inch of water.
