Itty Bitty Tank Ideas Please (im lost)

Back story: I got a 10 gallon from my father so I am keeping it. I really want to make use of this tank somehow though since it was his.. Anyone have any decent ideas on what to do with it? No dwarf cichlids, it's too small.. I'm moving the little pair I was growing out to the 125 next week. Brine shrimp grow out with a 3D background..?

What would fellow cichlid nuts do with an itty bitty tank? I'm kind of stumped any cool ideas ouut there?



All the plants are converted over to aquatic use so it would be cool if I could keep them. Not a deal breaker though. I used the tank as an aquaponics project with my oldest son for his school work. Awesome project BTW

That is an idea. I'll do some homework on them.

Mikrogeophagus ramirezi is a dwarf cichlid. Like I mentioned above there aren't any (to my knowledge) dwarfs that can go in a 10 for life.

Your thinking paludarium? That's a pretty good idea, thanks for going outside the box D! I was sold on those frogs until I saw they are $250!!

I would love to keep L255 but I still think it's too small. You think it would be fine in a 10 by itself?

Here is an update on my 10g Tang, single J. Transcriptus ust added the Java Fern tonight, we'll see if it like the hard water.
