Sucks to loose one, hopefully the rest will make it to adult size, keep up the good work.

So far I am amazed at how well they are doing, so far the ones that died didn't seem to be doing well from the start, there are two more than don't seem to be eating quite as much as the rest. i may move them to another tank to see if i can get them to eat better. These fish are fun to watch, they swim continuously, I think I'll start on building a stand for the 75 soon, they are all still quite small and the tank they are in is big enough temporarily but I'd like to see them in a bigger tank.

I am a little surprised to see it but they will try to go after small fishes, I've seen then try to grab the ottos off the glass but so far they haven't succeeded...

I think I'll hold off on the plants for a while, maybe when i get them to a 220 i might try some low spreading plants, they do better than i though they would in avoiding obstacles, My daphnia tubs are producing again, bright orange Daphnia magna this time.

My paddlefish are doing great, eating and swimming, still very active, snout damage is almost non existent, three of them have a tiny bump on the end. They are starting to show some small signs of dominance at feeding with the larger fish pushing the smaller ones out of the way to get at pellets. Still great fish, a bigger tank for them soon...

Paddlefish update: The paddlefish are still doing great, by next weekend i hope to have a stand for my 75 and have them transfered to the bigger tank. They are all still feeding well and show no signs of stress. They are all between 3.5 and 5.5 inches long at this point and I have high hopes of keeping them long term.
