I was wondering if this a a male and female jack Dempsey. Trying to get a pair going.

For the bottom I’m leaning toward male. Give it time though and you will know.

top def female bottom appears to be getting male scaling color on the body, females do not get this. but as stated its young so no sure bet on that yet. watch the bottom fish dorsal for pointing instead of being rounded at the end. same for bottom fin.

also he well pass her up in growth if a male, that may take a while, JD not fast growers.
