I agree with Rocksor, JD's and Jaguars are evolved to live in harder water. with higher pH. Trying to keep them in Blackwater would not be healthy for them. Also, leaching tannins in your water alone does not necessarily make it "blackwater".

As Rocksor stated, neither normal JDs nor managuense are black water species, both come from the hard, alkaline rivers and Cenotes of Mexico and Central America. Black water might do the oscar good, but not the Central Americans.
Below is an example of carpintus "chairel", they would do well in hard, pH 8 water. Whether or not they will be compatible with the others may be another story, in a 75 I doubt it. The terms "escondido, Chairel, or Rio Hondo" are ancestral catch locations, the names of Lagoons, or particular areas.

Wouldn’t mix any of the fish unless have a 6’ tank. IMO growing fish out before you have the “bigger” tank or other small tanks is doing it wrong. Been there done that and ended in always rehoming fish. My largest tank is a 150g and way too small to house those fish as adults.

Okay guys here’s an update, I went against the odds and bought 2 jags and an EBJD (I’m hoping that y’all might help me identify the sex) it’s been exactly a week and no one has been fighting or so, only the jags tend to chase each other at times but no one is messing around with the EBJD. They look happy and I’ve been feeding them 3-4 times a day, giving them a varied diet (shrimps, pellets, blood works and tried feeder fish yesterday). Have given them a lot of hiding and I’m changing the water every 3rd Day. I hope they it stays this way. Attaching a few pics (it’s really difficult to get their pics cause as soon as I go near the tank, they hide, so apologies for the poor pictures). Can anyone identify the sex of the fish?
Thanks in advance 758F480F-B080-4AC3-9E0A-38A4777F412A.jpeg455B5680-477C-45D0-996D-5C2FC8D91A38.jpeg1A5AD0E8-FD1D-4E62-8549-3DCE5ED69D1A.jpegA4A96DD4-27BA-4711-850F-391C1928205E.jpeg

How big are they? It looks too early to tell for all of them.

too small to sex, you'll have to wait until 5-6" to have a 50% at guessing the jag sex....the ebjd won't catch up in size
