If that's the biggest one of the batch, you'd think it'd be a male based on the fact that males are supposed to grow faster than females... but that 1 looks female to me, although the pic is kinda dark

some pics of the largest and one of the smaller ones...the smaller ones lighten up some like the largest but the largest never darkens as much as the smaller ones..will have to just keep waiting and see what sex it turns out to be...the parental male was light when he in the 5 inch range and also had me wondering whether it was male or female...

I got one of those cheap stick on thermometers... It always reads 78 degrees.... Eggs hatch in 3 days... And fry are free swimming exactly one week from when the eggs were layed....
