  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It will probably take only 2 years to get to full size. After that the only way they are going to grow is get wider and beef up.

a slow but steady growth is healthy and mine is at least 3 years old and still growing in length. if powerfed they can hit max in 2 years, but powerfeeding is unhealthy and can lead to growth deformities. take it slow and easy and you will get a much better looking fish. i dont expect mine to stop growing for at least one more year.

Would 2 Emperor 400's be good for a jag in a 75? And do you think I will regret spending the money a 75 all for one male jag, I mean was it worth it for you?

Thanks
Mike

I had a male Jag in a 75g with a Fluval 404. My Jag got to 9" before I decided to give him up. He just was too psychotic for me. He killed everyone in the tank (a Clarias and a Gibby). He's gone after me a few times while I was cleaning his tank. When it came to feeding time (which would probably be all the time if he had his way), he was sometimes leap out of the water to attack the falling pellets before they even hit the water.

They are wonderful wet/pets... I'll throw mine out while everyone else is:D
