Happy families fry started free swimming today and mums stopped picking on dad,
Dads even picking up the kids if they wander too far away.
I tried frozen baby brine ship today but they don't seam interested any hints.

Try crushing pellets into a paste with a few drops of water and dropping it in as it breaks up on the bottom fry love it , not too much though it makes a mess and try drop it out of the way of filter flow or you'll have a pellet cloud on your hands

I use a old electric coffee grinder. lets me make quite a bit using regular fish food, hopefully you have pre filter sox or sponges on your intakes, the fry will feed off these.and your filters not get gunked up with fry. I got about 500 one week old fry in the WC tank at the moment myself.

water changes going to be your challenge .

Yep i just finished doing water change a challenge for sure, i have plenty of room in the tank so i just gravel vacuumed the opposite end to were they were swimming,and filled the tank up again slowly.

I placed a large piece of coarse foam over the intake with a stocking over that to increase the surface area and reduce suction so the fry have a chance to swim away.

Working well so far later on i,ll remove the stocking once they grow a bit.
