Jaguar or Dovii?

My LFS sold me what I thought was to be a juvenile jaguar cichlid but after looking at the fish in my tank for awhile I believed that it was something different. I’m in between on if it is an actually jaguar or a Dovii. Someone please help me identify this fish

Males have spotted fins. At least you can house it if you was planning a Jag, female dovii get about as large as male jags ime.

Hard to say at such a small size. Once the fish grows (and should be fairly fast) you’ll know for sure. Most young cichlids, especially from the same genus look very similar.
