The difference between using cows pigs chickens and the like as a food source is that we actively replenish the populations, this is not done for dolphins whales or fish (with a select few fish being the exception)

I hear you and varanio's post. But it did say on the article that they only allow a certain number and that the species is endangered.

I personally would not eat Dolphins and thats my personal preference . Its another issue though to force my ideas and beliefs and pass judgement on a culture thats different from mine.

M/L - Ignorant is an understatement . I fear for the future. One day he will have kids of his own.

Ok. From what I understand most animals have a purpose. I have seen the Lion King, its the circle of life. As ridiculous as that sounds. Most 4 legged hooved animals main purpose is to eat the vegetation and their waste passes the seed and keeps the vegetation in check. Those animals are then food for bigger animals which they get their energy from the vegetarians that get the energy from the plants. Alright.

I think I understand where I am ignorant and what you are trying to tell me. I am thinking its a cultural issue that I agree, I am ignorant to a lot of different cultures. I am sorry for starting this debate that I know I clearly don't know a lot about.
