Japan's Dolphin Hunters

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
at the end of the day, there are no regulations to stop them and until there is u cant do anything about it, whether or not it is effecting the wild population or not is undecided but yiy cannot compare dolphoin unting to cow farming. and also imo here must be a more human way to hunt dolphins. as usually it mean fr a quicker kill resulting in a more eefficient hunt.

I know it's not fish... but it's a commercial harvest (just like fishing). jeez.

Who is to decide which animal should be bred to die (which is WAY more cruel) and which should not?

To me it comes down to the type of animal that we are harvesting. Cows, pigs, chickens, and most fish's reasons of being here is to provide food to a predator. Whether it be a bigger fish or a lion. Dolphins and porpoises are hunters and not really prey animals. Well thats if you consider Killer whales that will eat porpoises. Oh well. Just my .02 cents.

I think there is a difference between animals that are bred to be slaughtered and animals that are not ment to be slaughtered. Atleast in my mind.

What are animals that are meant to be slaughtered ? Are cows in India meant to be eaten ? Do we eat piranhas and freshwater stingrays like some people in the amazon do ? Can we call the eskimoes barbaric for killing baby seals and eating blubber or gulping down the occasional fish eye balls ?

Who make up rules on what we can or cannot eat ?
