Not sure what u mean? Not sure why u want it. In fresh water denitratifaction is gonna require a buffer or more frequent water changes...it's in salt water that it helps with removing water changes. Pothos works better in freshwater if u want low nitrates but u still need water changes.

Nitrates are not even that toxic to freshwater fish. They are small piece of why u want to change waters they are just a good indication of when it is time.

An algae scrubber is a better option yet can reduce ur need for water changes pair it with good mechanical filtration and a drip system and u can almost complete eliminate them.
 
Ops I mean like when will I see my ammonia level at 0ppm? Mybe I should do a 50% water change and see do it makes a difference.
 
I have a question. I changed my water today 50% or 60% and I tested my water ph and its still 6ph. when I test the water in the bucket with prime its 7.6ph. is there something going on in my tank? My ammonia, nitrate, ph is still at the same number.
