Well than i guess american teacher are incorrect. We use 3cm = 1 " where im currently in school. so idk... i still doubt that it will get near 3ft.

and its there natural habitat no matter how hard we try we will never have them thrive in our tanks as they would in the wild.. In the wild they have every and anytype of food source ranging from small birds to baby monkeys and anything else they can eat not including fish...

I have actually never even seen a jardini 3ft regardless on wild caught or tank raised...

The jardini in that pic does not look 3ft to me.

I don't even think many tank raised leichardtis reach the 3ft mark....mine is one of the largest I know of...and thats not 3ft yet.

Here are some monster leichardtis...NEVER seen a jar close to this and I doubt I will. Jardini are smaller species and I personally find it hard to beleive that they can reach the 3ft mark.

Thankyou Steve ;)

Del, being an Australian fish fan, Steve knows his stuff about jardinis and has never seen a 3 foot jar wild or captive - are you saying Steve is wrong?

BTW the wild jar steve posted is less than 30 inches, and it looks significantly bigger than the pic you posted Del. That jardini you posted is no more than 2 foot.

steve is like chuck noris.. Never wrong!

lmao first time i think i've said a chuck noris joke :nilly:

the pic of the leichardti aro is distorted, the guy has the fish positioned away from the body and toward the camera maknig the fish appear bigger than it actually is, while tipmons jardini is again the body of a human and can give you a good idea of its actual size, pics distort size regardless, liek we all say.
the pics do no justice for the fish.
i pmed timpon personally and ask him personally if the jardini was indeed 96 cm and he told me he did measure it head to tail with a measure.

and this fish is not the biggest jar he caught, he did have pics so he didnt bother to tell anyone about it since he would be made out to be a liar anyways.

in a concept of science, yes, he is wrong.

That fish is not 3 foot, not even close. Unless That guy's body is 30 inches wide, the fish is no more than 2 foot.

Show it lying down on the ground with a tape measure next to it.

That fish is no longer than your aro del. INstead of believing everything you read, use a bit of common sense and actually look at that fish you just posted and tell me if you think it's 3 foot.
