How long did it took u to grow ur aro to 10" or 10"+?

That also varies quite a bit , but at a guess my latest grew from 3" to 10" in around 12 months , I can probably work it out from my jardini growth thread

today i went to my local pet store just looking around heard they got some jardini but it turn out to be a leichardti. its about maybe 4-5" and they selling it for 168$. im not sure if leichardti are rare but i saw some jardini around my place for about 120$. if im willing to put a little time in and drive for about 30-40mins i can get a jardini for 90-100$
Jardini because I prefer the thicker shape and the spangles on gill plates , lei's look very slender in comparison especially the head area , also jardini wins for attitude they're much more aggressive fish and mfk's love aggressive fish lol 
although if you like the tank mates Lei's as much safer option
Don't get me wrong I'd love to have both but it can't happen ATM can only house one so its gotta be jardini for me

I would get a lei because I enjoy tank mates but I have always preferred the look of jardinis

honestly i love the dots and the lei but i feel like i like the scale shape of a jardini more. to me the jardini scales stand out more. i also like the thick shape of the jardini but those dots on the lei is REALLY nice.
Well good news is i was about to find a few big tank for about 100-200$ not too bad better than the pet store at my place they ask for i believe 130$ for a 75g
but the bad news is the tank i found that i have enough money for and close to me place i found a good 110 for 200$ http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/for/4986817898.html
and another one but the owner is selling the whole set tank + filter and some other stuff for 300$ but i just need the tank i can get the 110g filter from my friend for 30-40$.i also found another seller selling 130g for 130$. 1$ per gallon sound good to me.
well hopefully i can keep the fish in there for a while until i get some more money and find a bigger tank but a 110-130 should be able to do it for a while right?
