Savages are really nice for the price. Ive been wanting to pick up a Savage 10FP (.308 w/ bull barrel) for awhile now. You can turn them into a serious long range machine for a fraction of the price of your typical "sniper rifles."

That sucks you have a 10 day waiting period. I met the seller in Walmarts parking lot and bought the guns out of the trunk of his car. :grinno:
 
I dont know if you guys have heard thisyet but there was gun show in our area(Valley Forge)this past weekend and when it was over,one of the dealers had his guns that he didnt sell in the trunk of his car.He stopped at a restaurant and while there,someone got his trunk open and stole all of the guns.I just read this in the paper last night but I dont remember the exact number of guns that were stolen, it said that they were mostly long guns and some machine guns as the newspaper put it.

Its a shame the poor guy will probably get prosecuted because some one else stole his stuff. :( I doubt they were machine guns, I mean who would put tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff in the trunk of their car and not watch it?

That does remind me, one night I woke up, got out of bed, went into my driveway and got my pistol out of my car. I normally would have just left it in the car when I forget to bring it in. This time I didnt and guess what, I woke up the next morning to a broken window and my car stripped! :WHOA: My only regret is not waking up and meeting the punks that did it with a rifle in my hand....:irked:

Thanks, grab one while you can! If you cant find one in your area and you have an FFL friend just buy one off of one of the many gun websites such as AR15.com that have a classifieds section.
 
Yeah whoever stole from this dealer and the punks who broke into your car should have been lit up.

Do you have the importer name, I can tell alot about the rifle if you can give the importer name. If your rifle was imported by one particular importer its worth some loot!

I just called the place where I bought it from and he said that he is not sure but it might have been Century Arms.
