As I am not versed in Cichla, I do have a question about them. At 2-3 inches can you tell the difference between the species or do you have to wait until they are larger?

there is another thread for these questions ;) personally i can most likely tell but to the untrained eye they are just look like monos at that size

Oliver had Pinimas...shortly after Rapps had Pinimas... Oliver has Kelberis now Rapps has Kelberi's...hmmmh....LOL

werent they formerly recognized as monos (super monos) until the reclass recently?
