Bark. Less drive time, more time for school, probably better pay. In the end, you don't really lose anything. You actually gain more time for yourself. That 1 hour a day is priceless if you ask me.

You are looking to get by for the next two semesters and working at Bark is the logical way to achieve that.

Like you said, you are not looking at it as a career so what are you after at Petco? Employee discount? The friends you meet there will still be your friends if they are really your friends. No friends at Bark? So what, as long as you don't get into a fight or anything like that. I don't think you see yourself working in the same place after you graduate right?

Do it for the money and the time gained. Our hobby will always be there. You are looking for a job that will pay the bills and Bark does it.

Thank you all for the wonderful replies. I have alot of thinking to do...The biggest thing holding me back is the fact that in less then a year, I need a "real" job. Which means changing jobs, again...I am afraid all of the job changes will make myself undesirable for future employers.

That's why you go to school and get a degree. Its a new phase in life after you graduate.

When you list job experience and the job changes on your future resume briefly include the reason for change.

Petco 2007-2008 blah blah.
Regretfully left Petco for Bark to be closer to School and aid my education.
Bark 2008-2009 Blah blah.

Then you are not a loser burnout. You are a responsible young man focused on his goals.
It's all in the spin.

with only a short time left at school before you graduate...into bigger and better things... i would remain at petco simply because you are happy and content there and get along with your co workers ... at this time you will be facing alot of challenges at school, need to be concentrating mostly on that... later you will find new experiences worth pursuing..
