Couple more pictures. As they dig they have been mixing the new red with the older Black and Tan sand. Kind of digging the speckled look can't wait to see how it will look when the tank is full led and the new plants fill inJumped on the Red Sand Bandwagon

as my little mystery poly gets bigger its starting to look less and less like my endli. hes the last pic i posted. any new guesses on what the little monster is? its growing much faster than any of my other polys. it was one of the last ones i purchased and by far the smallest and is already the 2nd largest in the tank. so far im thinking possibly a congi hybrid with its long head structure coupled with its gold coloration and light striping
Thanks man. I love the pattern on my other endli. I could see cb endli for the one in question. The long head, flowy tail and light color just through me off
It does look like a hybrid with mostly Endli genes. Not sure what the other mix would be. Hard to say.
Hehehehe new phone takes much much better pictures
They're coming on 5 years now. They were some of the first fish I put in the tank when I initially set it up. Got them around 1.5" and now the largest is pushing 8.5 or so
