That's a great looking tank, how big is it? Love the real plants, I'm hoping to pull off something like this.
125. Plants are fun! Really not too hard either if you have the right setup. Nutrient rich substrate, lots of light- and light in the right wavelengths, add some co2 into the mix and you're good to go!That's a great looking tank, how big is it? what do you do to dose Co2?125. Plants are fun! Really not too hard either if you have the right setup. Nutrient rich substrate, lots of light- and light in the right wavelengths, add some co2 into the mix and you're good to go!
Cheapest way is to diy reactor it. Brewers yeast sugar water container airline tube check valve and a diffuser. Or by a Co2 kit but that's expensive. You can use a product called excel from seachem too but I've heard you shouldn't mix that and polys, I don't know the validity of that statement though.what do you do to dose Co2?
Looking good!
I never wanted to mess with CO2 so I just choose plants that don't need a lot from me and go from there. It takes time to figure out which plants like your setup and which don't, though.
Hello Polleni - how's s/he doing with the rest of the crew? How big now?
Awesome, I'd love it. He doesn't let others push him around, but does he start stuff?
That sounds kinda complicated. Brewers yeast? interesting. Haven't heard that about Excel, but good to know about the possibility.Cheapest way is to diy reactor it. Sweet. How often do you need to change the CO2? is it in the little tanks? Or am I thinking of something completely different? All my co2 is ran through a dual stage reg that goes to a bubble counter from there my line is ran to a giant inline co2 reactor for total absorption into the water
