use ceramic rings in the fx5 along with the foam around the sides of the trays but dont use the big round polishing pad they clog too damn fast

Thanks for the tip. I was just out looking at FX5 filter media today. Didn't buy any yet, figured I'd come here first and see what other people use. I did buy a new AC 110, and a 30 dollar platic natural looking log.

def will be some work, but i love project like that, i bet u can make it look great

I don't know if I have the ambition to make it look great, but I want to be able to sit down, watch the fish and not get too grossed out by the way the room looks.

sorry for ure loss

id go with grammodes/cubans.

Thanks.

I think cubans will be part of the equation, and I also want grammodes, so I think I'll get a few of both. I'm getting them at a small size, so I don't think overcrowding will be an issue for a long time. And none of the species get overly huge.

The sagittae and 3 frempongis came in this morning. They are all in a 30 long until the 150 is ready, in another 10 days or so. I haven't been able to get a pic of the sagittae yet, he hides whenever I sit in front of the aquarium and won't come out of the flower pot until I leave. He is kind of a pale yellow in color, similar to a pink convict, and at about 1 1/2 inches TL, slightly larger than the fremongis. I'll try o snap a pic tonight when it gets darker in the room.

Here is a pic that has all 3 frempongis in it if you you close enough.

This is one blurry I know, but the fish are still skittish and hiding a lot.
