Sure I would like a pic of yours thx. Im having trouble with finding a spot for the skimmer. Its suppose to fit in the back, but its going to be a really tight fit.

Here a few pics of the tank. I added the nano filter done by current in the back and took out one of the two sponges, but it made the tak over heat. You could take one of the sponges out and put the skimmer in its place.

Is yours the 12 or 24 gallon aquapod. In mine their is a 1 big sponge and 4 bioballs. Is this the newer version?
Dont upgrade the pump it is the least loud one. Oh have you plugged your lights into the wall and turned the middle switch on? If its too loud, I will let you know how to fix it. Mine is a 24 gallon too. Now that i remember I cut the sponge in two, you can do the same just a a razor blade knife and it cuts right through. To the left of the sponge is where you will put the Chemi-pure elite too. That is really a must since your main filter is a sponge. Oh and I use the Instant ocean hydrometer its not the best but it works.
