Huejeta Gars are very cool looking. I know they can get up to 12" and do good in groups. They can also use some current in their set up

They did not have any more so i hope he does okay until i can get him a group. thanks

They sell those at an LFS here and call them "Silver gars"

I almost bought one about 2 years when I started my gar collection, but there was just something about it that prevented me from doing so.

Only rope fish as a tank mate now... and i have not decided where he can go after quarenteen,....or after he grows some... what are your suggestions for good tank mates for him?

Thats grear because i will add him to the severum tank... when he is bigger...or i will set up his own tank if i can locate a group... i think they would look great in a group.

hujeta they are a cool fish! I have heard they are super easy eaters feeding on pellets eventually
