I was at my lfs picking up some nightcrawlers for my rays this afternoon. I ended up walking around to see what kind of fish they had in stock. The ID Shark caught my eye right away. I know the owner fairly well and decided to walk into the back room and ask him how much the ID Shark was. He said he had two of them and someone bought one of them on Monday. He said he'd give him to me for $10. He also said the ID Shark's lip was swollen and red that he thought it happened when the guy brought them in. I ended up bringing him home and putting him in my 135 gallon tank. I'll be getting a 600 gallon so and that is were he'll be when the time comes. I am currently treating him with meliflex. Any other suggestions? I tried snapping a couple of pictures, but he moves so damn quick.

for the injuries, just keeping the water pristine is always a good bet, does it look now like if it is infected or anything like that?

umm... ID's will feed from top or bottom.... completly your choice... although bottom would be generally better...

It doesn't look infected, from what I can tell. The tank is on a drip system so it's always getting plenty of fresh water. I haven't seen him eat yet. So far I've tried, blood worms, black worms, sinking pellets and krill. This was not all meet for him. ;)

try shrimp and scallops and vegies like lettuce...
