nice fish, i have 3 of them. my biggest one is in with my RTC, TSN, RTCxTSN and my TSNxLEI. and he does just fine with the other catfish. keep me updated on him.
 
That's an ARTC yup. and as for aggressive it all depends on the fish as some are aggressive some are and some are not early but will be later on and some are early but settle down later on. It's really a toss up. That's how cats kinda are. Some are just straight bullies. Cool fish though.
 
Hemibagrus species are not easy to tell apart when small. Either real great, right pics are needed or let him grow a bit, like to a foot or so - then it will become much more obvious. From the chances standpoint, wykii are by far and large most sold Hemibagrus. I had 4 small wykiis (and 2 big ones). They looked like your fish but from these shots I can't be sure (not that I am an expert anyway :) )

"Just could not resist" is right. They are awfully cute and quirky.
